Meet Recap

Recently rained on course made things more challenging with slippery mud, and wet grass creating heavy shoes for all.
We were very competitive for the number three spot today, but we were edged out by FHE. We are very evenly matched with FHE and GRSC, but I believe we can overcome them when we are all on form.
Everyone gave gritty efforts on a tough day. I’m proud of how hard the girls worked.
Junior, Lauren Lutz (21:09) is really coming back to form having a season record on a challenging course!
Freshman Audrey Meyering (21:28) showed again today, that being near the top is somewhere she wants to stay.
Junior Alli Matison (21:30) had a great finish, demonstrating drive and determination.
Senior Rachael Gorton (21:42) being very consistent in the 21-minute range.
Sophomore Sarah Possett (21:43) did not have the kind of performance she expects from herself, but I fully expect her to rebound and really be a force at the Conference Meet.
Freshman Elizabeth Meyering (22:16) ran a solid race and pushed herself to be in the mix.
Sophomore Bree Bonnema (22:25) had really good effort on this tough course.
