Game Recap

The trojans continued with their winning with a 2-0 win tonight over Hamilton. On a rainy cold night the trojans came out strong putting a lot of pressure on Hamilton. Although TK controlled play and had several good chances the first 40 minutes ended with the score 0-0. In the second half the trojans continued to play tough and create some good opportunities. At the 23:13 minute mark Alyvia Thorne put the trojans on the board when Kylie Adams beat a Hamilton defender and played a great ball in front of the net. Thorne beat the keeper to make it 1-0. To seal the deal at the 29:33 mark Haley Dehaan made the score 2-0 after Maddie Raymond’s shot was deflected to Dehaan. She beat one defender and played a ball from left to right to make it 2-0.

TK’s defense continues to remain strong notching it’s 12 shutout of the season. TK moves to 14-2 on the season. TK’s next game comes down to a huge conference battle with South Christian. Both TK and South each have 1 loss in the conference and Monday’s game will be for the conference championship. Game time is at 6:45pm at Bob White Stadium.
