Game Recap

The trojans did not lack opportunities to score tonight as they took 48 shots on the evening. With some stellar goal keeping from Vicksburg and several shots sailing high and wide the trojans only managed to score 5 times.

The defense for the trojans played outstanding and got their 4th shutout on the season. On the offensive end it took a while for the trojans to get their first goal but they finished the first half with 3. It wasn’t until the 31:00 minute mark that Alyvia Thorne finished a great ball from Sarah Possett. Just 3 minutes later Anna Morgan notched her first goal of the season from Haley Dehaan. At the 37 minute mark Maddie Raymond found Allexus Barnes to make it 3-0 at half.

The second half would find more opportunities for TK. It wasn’t until the 20 minute mark when Kylie Adams found Alyvia Thorne for her second goal of the night. Then at the 22 minute mark Haley Dehaan scored on another great ball from Kylie Adams.

TK moves to 5-1 on the season. They travel to East Grand Rapids on Wednesday to play their third conference game of the season. Currently TK is tied for first place in the conference with a 2-0 record.
