Game Recap

The Trojans end their regular season with a much needed win at Grandville. It was another hard fought battle by both teams. TK’s Ike Possett scored 8 of the Trojan’s 15 points in the first which catapulted the Trojans to an early lead. A 5 point 2nd quarter allowed the Bulldogs to head into half up by 4. This is the type of season TK has had. We’ve struggled to score in consecutive quarters and let teams pull away. TK came out firing in the third, scoring 23, but Grandville poured in 26 of their own to stretch the lead to 7. The Trojans went 7 for 8 from the line and hit a huge 3 point shot with 2.8 seconds left on the clock to seal a one point victory. Senior Matt Lark made 5 of those free throws and knocked down the big triple. TK travels to Ottawa Hills for post season play next Wednesday to face the winner of Grand Rapids Christian and East Grand Rapids. Game time is 5:30.
